Love Lose It!

I love this app. It's easy to use. It covers everything I need to help me in my quest to lose weight. I'm definitely not Tech savvy and I can use this with ease. If you can't find info you're looking for through the Restaurant or Grocery section and still can't find what you want, you can use an outside source and input it into the Lose It! App recipe section. There's a lot that I don't know or use that is available to those that are good at figuring out these things. I only use the free portion of the app. There is much more available for a small fee. It's just great! I'm happy to be losing weight with Lose It! I've had this APP for two years and I lost 42 pounds in
9 months then I hit a plateau and stayed there for another
9 months until I started to gain 18 pounds slowly because I was stressed about my husband being diagnosed with lymphoma. I put all my time and energy into his treatments and getting him cancer free. He's down to one more treatment of Chemotherapy and I have restarted using my Lose It APP and I have lost 6 pounds since the end of 2016. It has even more information now and I'm so happy to be using it again as I still need to lose over 50 pounds. Try Lose It, you'll be glad you did. Good luck!

Love it so far

I tried out weight watchers for awhile and that was difficult for me for some reason. I don't know why, but the points system was hard for me to utilize.

I decided to give this a try instead. I've only used it a week but so far it's a lot easier for me. I went ahead and upgraded to premium. It's way cheaper than weight watchers which is great because the constant monthly payments stressed me out with weight watchers to the point that I didn't want to even open the app anymore. I also like that this was a one time payment for the entire year. So I don't have to worry about the money anymore and can just focus on the diet itself.

The app is also extremely useful in the breakdown of what I'm consuming nutrition wise. I'm now seeing patterns I didn't even realize I had and can clearly see what to cut back on. The blog is also awesome and easy to work through! I only wish it had a search option so I can look up specific target areas I'm struggling with. IE how to cut back on sugars, carbs, etc . Overall I'm very pleased with the app... and premium is so worth the cost.

Portion control is key 🔑

I eat fairly healthily, but the scale never moved because I love food, especially carbs, a little too much. Lose IT is invaluable to keep me accountable to my daily calorie allowance. Now the pounds are slowly but surely melting off, and I've currently lost 18 pounds in 2.5 months.

I am enjoying the enhancements added since the last time I used this app many years ago; in particular the way the Fitbit app integrates and gives you calorie bonuses based on how much you exercise, the expanded food database, and the way you can scan brand name foods with your phone to automatically enter nutritional information. However I'm finding that for several listed foods there are great calorie discrepancies, sometimes within brands and/or the same measurements of food. I sometimes had to look it up on the internet to find some sort of happy medium. I'm not sure if the food database is ever reviewed for accuracy.

At any rate, I still highly recommend this app.
