Great app with huge database of foods, drinks, etc

I first used this app about 2 years ago on the advice of a friend, but I wasn't that impressed at that time and ended up switching to Weight Watchers. A couple of weeks ago, I was considering rejoining Weight Watchers to shed about 3-5 lbs, but thought I'd try this app again first since it's free. I must say the developers have made a ton of improvements! I'm able to search by product name, food type, restaurant, and/or brand for almost all foods, and the scanner works great too for identifying grocery items! Adding my morning smoothie recipe was super easy too and now I'm easily able to add it to the tracker each day. I love that the app syncs with Apple Health and MapMyFitness (though I often have to force-sync MapMyFitness for some reason) for easy exercise tracking. This has worked great for me for the past few weeks and I plan to continue to use it until I reach my goal weight- I've already lost 2.5 lbs!

Best app for anyone who wants to maintain a healthy weight

I am so grateful for this app! I dabbled with other ways to track my eating, like counting "Points" and never had success. There's just too much leeway in that. I feel so good and empowered now that I have a tool to use which I can trust.

I love the suggested calories to reach my goal weight by a certain date, and the suggested calories it provides for meals. This gives me a ballpark for meal-planning. You can change the percentages, and the graphs make it easy to track your macros. Awesome! There's a barcode scanner and it seems like thousands of foods to choose from. I haven't had a problem yet.

There's also a social aspect with groups and challenges to join. I had years of disordered eating patterns, and finally feel a sense of relief. Like now I actually can trust something, because it's pretty straight forward on this app.

I purchased the Premium package because it's only like $30 for a year, compared to Weight Watchers which was that for one month. It's worth it. Thanks Lose It!

I have never had to diet in my life. Totally clueless when my metabolism took a nose dive with age. This ap has been just what I needed to guide me not only on what I need to do to loose weight but motivates me to develop healthy habits. I used the free version for first week and was so impressed signed up for premium. Couldn't be happier with not only the ap but also the resulting weight lost education it has provided. I've been faithfully using it for just a month but it is so easy and fun I plan to continue even after I reach my goal to ensure I maintain a healthy life style.
