One place to coordinate help, communicate updates & receive emotional support. Schedule meal deliveries, rides to appointments, and visiting hours by posting tasks others can help with. Notify all concerned family members, friends, and community members about the status of your loved one with a single message. Connect with your support network with posts like photos and well wishes.

Coordinate meaningful help (meals, rides, visits) when you most need it. Make it easier for people to help in even the smallest ways, and save time communicating unmet needs.

Share updates with your friends & family instead of sending multiple emails, phone calls or texts.

Allow friends & family to express love, emotional support, and uplifting messages.

How to coordinate help while caring for a loved one:

1. Create a Lotsa Community.
2. Invite family, friends, neighbors & colleagues to help with your Community.

Crash crash crash

As a coordinator the app would be better on the phone. But anytime I try to switch between pages or crashes. Like if I go from calendar to activity it just closes or if I click on the comments to read them crash.

Developer Response

Thank you for your feedback. We believe we have determined the cause of your issue and resolved it. Please try the app again - no need for an app update. If you continue to have crashing issues, you can email us directly at

Not useful for Coordinating

As some people who reviewed the last version pointed out, this app is for people volunteering to help, not for the person coordinating the help. Who do they think are the main people downloading this app? They should consider it's the coordinators who will be using it most while sitting in hospital rooms trying g to approve members, add activities, and manage caretaking on-the-go. It's a shame since the website is head and shoulders above others of its class. As it is, I can only use this app to see who signed up for a meal drop off on what day. Or post an announcement. I'll have to keep checking email to approve new members, then open a web browser on my phone, and re-sign in, yet again, to manage that. I "get" to use safari instead of this app if I want to edit an event or even create a new activity on the calendar. If the app were useful for coordinating I would be telling everyone about LotsaHelpingHands. Please, for the sake of your brand, try to fix these problems with the app!

Developer Response

Thank you for your feedback. Version 3.0 should address your concerns listed here. You can approve members, add/edit events, etc from the mobile app now. If you have any other questions or feedback, please let our support team know.

Good for members but not coordinators

This app has the basics but there is no way to do any community administration as a coordinator. It would be nice to be able to approve and invite new members through the app rather than logging in anew each time I go back to my Safari browser window when I am on my phone. Considering how many community coordinators are likely to be needing to manage their community while sitting in waiting rooms at medical appointments etc. this function would be a real service to have added.

Developer Response

Thank you for your feedback. Version 3.0 of the app added a lot of new functionality for coordinators. You can approve/invite members through the app now. If you have any other feedback, please let our support team know.
