The driver I had today named Jenny... was so awesome one of the best lyft experiences I've ever had! From the moment I walked in the car and she noticed that I was tired 😴 she put on music that was soothing to me and to keep my mind going until I arrived home bc I don't feel safe falling sleep in "Uber's/Lyft's" but I dozed off as soon as we were approaching my house and I only knew that bc I heard the gps say "turn left on Day-Kah court" which I 😄 at inside of myself and before I knew it I heard her (Jenny) say "is this your house right here in the color _____" & I replied, "omg... I'm sorry I knocked out I am so 😴. Plz make sure to stay hydrated and have a safe drive." She then, "thanked me" and I looked at her and said it's no problem or something along the lines of that. & finally, she departed and continued on her route to the next... all it takes is one act of kindness. Just ☝🏼 & it makes a 🌎 of difference. I ❤️ the fact that I have my freedom of speech and give respect ✊🏼 to those that are in need of it, just to make sure to nonverbally remind them that it's all worth it and you're going to be and/or do something amazing&everything is achievable in life. Always. No matter what.🙌🏼🤗
Software is terrible - edit: they reimbursed me the difference
App informed me my driver had arrived when he was still 5 minutes away (I could see him on the GPS) and started charging me for the ride while he was on the way to pick me up. Not the drivers fault, but the app essentially overcharged me due to their automated software. There was no easily identifiable way to indicate this in the display. I won't be using lift again; they already cost more than uber so early ride charging hikes them up too much.
Edit: I found where to contact customer support and they reimbursed me the difference literally within 5 minutes. That's amazing customer service and I've changed my mind completely.
BETTER THEN UBER
The fact that LYFT let's riders have the option to tip their driver's for all their hard work earns them a five star rating in my review. I have used LYFT a few time and have already been given a 50% promotional ride discount. Whereas UBER I'm a more then active rider over five years and still no special discount and when I want to tip my driver I must have cash on hand which is unfair to the drivers doing a good job since we all rarely carry cash. I hope that LYFT will have a more luxurious vehicle option in the future. LYFT's customer service, prompt arrival time and driver communication via LYFT app will continue to grow in a positive direction.
