***Bill Pay Guarantee. We will cover up to $50 in late fees if a payment using M&T Online Bill Pay is late and you (i) scheduled the payment sufficiently in advance of the payment due date to allow for the payment to be processed and sent by us, and (ii) the date you selected as the Delivery Date was no later than the date your payment was due, excluding any applicable grace periods. Further, your payment must be scheduled according to the requirements set forth in the M&T Digital Services Agreement and you must have sufficient available funds in your account. Not so hot
I gave this app a two-star rating, instead of one star, because it has some useful features, although it could use many upgrades. I like that I can check the balance of both my checking and savings accounts, as well as make transfers between the two. However, that is about all I use the app for. Even doing these two basic functions can be a problem. Almost every time I attempt to use the app, I have to log in a number of times before it works. It often gives me a message saying, "unable to log in," and then once I finally get into my account and try to view my Account Summary, it says, "system unavailable, please try again later." I originally thought this only happened in areas where I had low service, but I have since used it with 3 bars of service and 3G coverage, as well as on wifi, and have encountered the same problem. I also do not like that I can't deposit a check through the app or use a fingerprint to log in. It seems this app has too many glitches and too few features to be worth it.
Iphone 6/6+ update and overall just lacking
I can't believe I wrote similar comments before and I need to state them again... Please get with the times. This is the only banking app I know of that is severely outdated. You're starting to make it easy for customers to look elsewhere.
Overall like the app. A couple things I would like to see added are the ability to log in via touch ID, and the ability to deposit a check via the app. These are common things among other apps so it's really behind at this point. Otherwise it's simple, but wish it had a little more spice. The interface seems kind of plain.
Pointless "web-app" framed in an iOS App
Without Touch ID it's useless. Nobody uses a password they can type in manually every time they login anymore, it's 2016. My password was uniquely generated long string of random numbers, letters, and symbols. At least from Safari it auto-populates my password.
It's also not designed for iPhone 6/6s Plus size screens, so it looks enormously huge and annoying. But again, it won't do this from Safari.
Looks like I'm just uninstalling. If you ever decide you want a real iPhone app, contact a real developer rather than someone you clearly just have paid $5 for this thing you have now.
