Customer Reviews

Auto-renewal is a fraud.

First, this is a really good magazine, and the app works great on the Ipad. At first.

BUT ... when you are on auto-renew, the repurchase info is not transmitted to the app. Therefore, you are repeatedly asked to purchase new issues for which you have already paid. There is no way past it. Neither MacLife nor the Apple store provide any help. (MacLife refers you to the ITunes Store, and the ITunes Store refers you to MacLife.)

Following the "delete and redownload the app" instructions in the app's help menu do not work. I strongly recommend against choosing the auto-renew option. In fact, due to my poor customer service experience, I recommend that you not purchase this app at all.

Great but could be better...

This magazine is good enough to make you aware about most of Apple events and matters.
However I can not why this magazine have others in this field too?????!!!!!
Preferred to pay a little bit more, but have everything all at once in one magazine here...
It would be better for introducing the new apps to activate a link in each introduction to guide the reader to app store page of that app.
Thanks you for the app. ;)

Restore all downloads at auto renewal

I too (as pdx_photoman did) had issues with the auto renewal. In order to get MacLife to know that I was authorized further issues after the renewal, I had to do a restore, which meant I had to re-download any of the older issues I already had stored on my iPad…I like to keep the helpful issues as reference. Well, re-downloading is time consuming and a pain. There has got to be a better to handle auto renewal.
