Amazing company, amazing app
NOTE: this app deserves 5 stars, but it currently crashes on my (new) iPhone X. Hoping they’ll fix it soon, at which time 5 stars are in order. Frankly the entire MACU team deserves a massive (but gentle) pat on the back. And a month-long paid vacation. Every year. Anywhere in the world. MACU has by far been the best banking institution I’ve ever used, and I’ve used quite a few. They won my business just over a decade ago, and I haven’t looked back. They continue to impress and provide an awesome experience, each year seemingly better than the last. The app is great - I can do pretty much anything I can do in a branch anywhere that I have internet, and I love that I don’t need to use a proper computer. And mobile check deposit is my #1 top-used feature. Saves me a 20 minute drive to my branch —which is awesome but also kind of sad because the folks at the branch are always so helpful and fun to talk to. But you get my point. :) If you have ANY qualms with your current credit union or (blech) bank, I highly suggest you give these guys a try. They will not disappoint unless you have a brain worm condition compelling you to obsessively stick to irritating institutions with no soul. You don’t have a brain worm, do you? I didn’t think so. Don’t know how you can say it’s the worst out I have a nothing but the best experience with America from 2011 till now they’re the best bank they listen to me they go above and beyond to fix the problem every single time and if not every single time 19 out of 20 let me tell you. I hope so good luck with them that I recommend them to everybody. Bad credit was bad when I opened it the things they do for me I would never go to another bank in my lifetime feel well Fargo‘s and Zion bank are done. What’s happening in my opinion is you got to have a picture of a certain item that has to match up to the one you picked once you get it it’s on the best apps you’ll ever find I checked mine three times a day at least never a problem I even checked with my eye retina and it reads my retinas in my eyes so they know it’s me. great app you are very mistaken give it some time You will see and come back on here and write a whole different app review. Patients my young apprentice patient.
The app has some promise in it, but it is in no way user friendly. You look at the JP Morgan chase app for example and you can do everything seamlessly. I.e. transfer money to another institution, pay your bills, pay your mortgage and have the balance change immediately, not have to wonder what is quick payment vs transfer money vs send money. Just simple things like transfer and deposit are seen as options with follow up options later in the process. This app crashes all the time, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve went to use a function on the app and it “isn’t available and I need to call” or how many times I’ve reset my simple 4 digit pin to transfer money, only to get a message that says pin incorrect. Or how many times I’ve made a payment by transferring money from my savings to my mortgage and it doesn’t show a balance change for 2 days. Please simplify the options and make it more user friendly and quicker refresh times on balances.
