Ratings and Reviews
Excellent with room for improvement
Well, the music and storyline were written by Mozart and Schikaneder's theater group back in the late 1700's so I award no points for that. The game itself is pretty simple, however, I have to admit that there is a great atmosphere that is lacking in so many puzzle games. I felt compelled to keep advancing through the levels to the act 1 finale. Writing an original story would have been more appealing to me, though I suppose this is a great way to expose young people to the classics, I bet over half the people playing this don't even know what an opera is, let alone Mozart. Now when you click episode 2 it sends you to go see the real opera. I guess the project got shelved. Pity.
Great game, but...
I love this game... however, there is a bug once you get to the next set of levels.
You can only get one person to go through the door. The other person is stuck, and then cannot even move. The tile then freeze, and you can't complete the level. This makes me sad, since I was really enjoying playing the game.
Since the app hasn't been updated in over a year, I don't hold much hope for a future bug fix. Too bad!
This game was challenging enough that I had to play the harder levels multiple times to perfect my strategy. I really enjoyed playing it, and will definitely be getting Act II when it comes out.
