Ratings and Reviews
Self love amazing features and very interactive
My 5 year old and I came across this app while looking for African American apps. As soon as we downloaded the app my daughter was in love. She loves the name of the little girl and the fact she can read along with the story is awesome. This app is very interactive. While reading things she can also touch objects to bring amazing sound effects to the story. There is also a photo game. My daughter photographs everyone and gives them a magic poof. I began to worry about my daughters self esteem. She would often call her hair nappy and asks me to straighten often. After reading/ playing with this app she came up to me and said "mommy I want to wear my hair in a poof for school" (school starts tomorrow) unfortunately, she already has a hair appointment set up and it's too late to cancel. I told her when it's time to do her hair over again she can wear her poof to school. I'm so happy she in finally falling in love with herself and her hair!
Interactive fun with positive diversity messages
I appreciate the little details that keep this book interactive and fun for kids. The messaging about accepting oneself and others is also very positive. It's good to see fun, lively stories featuring diverse children, especially girls.
Great for kids
This is a great app for kids dealing with exclusion and trying to fit in. The voices are engaging in the read to me setting and it's really fun for adults to read to their kids too. Highly recommended.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
