Mail to Self • Send notes to your email in one tap

By Extra Thought

This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.

> Found something you need to mail yourself?
> Tap on “Mail to self” icon in the share menu
> Done. It’s in your inbox.

Do you mail yourself links to web pages that are important? (because if they go into your bookmarks, they will get lost forever…) This app allows you to do that in a single tap.

No more typing you email ID every time you need to send yourself a web page, link to an image, video or anything from a browser. Just tap the icon and it sends the link to your inbox.

Note: This app can only send text based info, so sending images or videos won’t work.

Works with all iOS apps that support extensions.

We've received a healthy bit of coverage, here's a few selected reviews to help you decide:

"The app is exceedingly simple but absolutely a must-have if you frequently (or even occasionally) email links to yourself as reminders for items you want to browse or share later."

CNET by Matt Elliott:
"If you share my disorganized reading habits, then I have an app to share with you: Mail to Self."

Time by Alexander Aciman
"This app is one of the more innovative ways of overcoming human procrastination and forgetfulness"

The Loop by Shawn King
"… I do this frequently on iOS and have been using and liking this little extension."

AppAdvice by Aldrin Calimlim
"…if you want to ensure you actually get around to viewing what you save, you may want to email it to yourself…Enter: the aptly named Mail to Self."

Essential Missing Functionality

If you channel notes, web stuff, etc. to capture it all in one place then you will really appreciate this app. Apple provides a bunch of ways to collect data and I find having one collection point to be simpler.

Works as promised

Shows up under share, use it to send selected text or other items quickly. Well designed and focus on app goal

So easy

I use my email inbox as a to do list, so emailing links, pictures, etc. to myself ensure I’ll get to it later.
