Description

The fast, fun mobile inbox that puts email in its place.

Note: Currently for Gmail and iCloud accounts. Other email platforms are on the way!

Mailbox is a completely redesigned inbox that makes email light, fast, and mobile-friendly. Quickly swipe messages to your archive or trash. Scan an entire conversation at once with chat-like organization. Snooze emails until later with the tap of a button — they’ll return to your inbox automatically so you can focus on what's important now.

Mailbox checks your email from the cloud and delivers it to your phone securely. Now with Auto-swipe, Mailbox learns from your swipes and snoozes to automate common actions. Mute that conversation you don’t care about, snooze messages from your friend to this evening, or route all of your receipts to a list — automatically.

Mailbox’s delightful UI and smart features make getting to zero — and staying there — a breeze. After you experience a clean inbox, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it.

“Already the app I use most often.”
—MG Siegler, parislemon.com

“The best email management app you'll ever use.”
— Ryan Lawler, TechCrunch

So much potential!

Email is a horrible thing to stay on top of but this app makes things a breezes. I cannot wait for auto-swipe and for it to come to Mac. I even made a Dropbox account because of it. The cool photo at the end is a reward for being productive. You all have really nailed the above.

However:
1) I really wish it had general IMAP support so I can move all my accounts to this wonderful app. I know you're all working on it but the sooner the better.

2) Drafts would be a nice addition. Integration with calendar apps would be nice to. However keep it simple please that's where this app shines.

Update for 2.0
Love auto-swipe and the syncing of settings. But please change the icon back! Still awaiting the previously mentioned features and the Mac client. Still love the product

Horrific Downgrade

Removed stars? Really? Put back stars the way the were. or we can't continue to use it. Create a swipe for them. Create a column for them across all lists. This release just took us from a flexible system to a forced workflow akin to outlook and folders a decade ago.

Stars allow for tagging across all lists and the inbox. They allow for filtering in gmail. This completely kills GTD.

It also makes using Gmail's priority inbox a huge problem where they used to work well together.

Why do big companies make such stupid decisions when they buy out smaller firms? How hard is it to listen to Raving Fans?

Here's your chance to earn back some trust.

Things that should have been fixed in this release based on USER requests but aren't:

No saved drafts.
No swipe to Spam folder
No Stars List
No Multiselect for bulk actions unless swipe all
No ordering inbox or other lists over 50 items
No colored Labels
No filtering of Lists

Still my favorite mail app

I don't understand why everyone is so upset about this update. I mean, I was a little disappointed with auto swipe. I thought it would be better if it just learned where you swipe certain emails, so like if you always swipe emails from work to a work folder then when you swipe it will automatically go to work folder instead of asking you. I don't see very many uses for the current implementation of auto swipe.

Other than that, I have no problem with the new update. Still works just as well as always.

Can't wait for Mac app! Also, I would like to see geofencing option for the delay swipe.
