Completely Flawed but Optimistic
I’ve had nothing but problems since downloading a few weeks back, with video issues, severe lag, and answering the question correctly and still being locked out for an incorrect answer. I would hope a new host will join and add some flair and entertainment like Scott R. Does in HQ. He’s entertaining, up to date with current events and has the personality of one of your close personal friends. In the end, I see a fun game down the road, it isn’t there yet but give it a few more updates and tweaks and we’ll have a gem of a game. I love Family Feud, and this is a similar take on it, seeking the most popular answer.
Be patient... lord knows I have been, and soon this game will blossom to HQ like heights. Trust the developers are probably wrong taking around the clock fixed it. It’s got to be so hard to basically poll an entire group of people, sum up the results and identify the correct users from those that didn’t get it right. Be patient.
The game is “coincidentally” very similar to HQ. Except for the cheap lighting, echo-y voice, and host named Johnny. The host will make subtle digs at HQ, claiming that Majority Rules is the best show. The prize is smaller than HQ at $200, but there’s only about 2,000 players at a time. The thing that annoys me is the host. He’s obviously not as charismatic as HQ hosts. He reads off a TelePrompTer that’s over the camera so he’s constantly looking up. His jokes are corny at best. And he seems like he’s trying way too hard to be funny. It actually detracts from the game itself. The game functions like HQ but you have a minute to type in an answer to questions like “Name something people put on a soft pretzel” and your told 12% chose salt, 25% chose cheese, and the majority, 50% of you chose mustard. That’s how the game goes for all 10 questions. That was an actual question they just asked and answered today. Overall I’ll stick to HQ with the effects and quality hosts who know what they’re doing and clearly can make good jokes on the fly.
Way more fun than HQ
I got in a few weeks ago from making referrals (no the app is not a scam!) and I love the format.. it’s like family fued and the questions are things everyone knows but may have different opinions on. It’s fun to see what the top answers are and they made the right choice to limit participation to ensure higher prizes. HQ often has huge prizes but low pay out and unlike Majority they require a minimum win to cash out WHICH IS SCAMMY. The host is very likeable and chill. They’ve had a few bugs along the way but it’s a brand new app so it’s to be expected. And FYI I am a real person not fake.
Sadly I haven’t won yet but I always come close.
Update: The day after I made this review I won my first game! A bit less than $5 but put a much-needed smile on my face :) ..it was a CLOSE one too!
