Description
The Every Dollar Counts app is designed to give Every Dollar Counts program participants who choose to participate in research surveys the opportunity to complete surveys on their smartphones. The app occasionally prompts you, the participant, to answer short surveys about how you spend your time, what food you eat, how you think about the future, and other topics.
To lower the burden of surveys on you, the app also uses passive data collection methods. One example is location data captured via GPS. Knowing where someone spends their time can help determine how it was spent. This method reduces the number of surveys you are asked to fill out, while preserving your privacy.
This app provides you with full control over the data you provide to the study and all participation is optional. You can pause the app operation at any time to stop passive data collection or to skip particular surveys. You can access and review the data collected from your device through your online account. Also, at any time, you can choose to delete part or all of the data you have provided for the study or drop out of the study.

Update
Great when it works
Minor issues
The app works however I keep having this notification in pink in the app saying "your study setup is incomplete" so when i click on it it takes me to the app store and asks to update it, once i click update it doesn't say it needs it in the app store. Also sometimes it will make it seem like my surveys ate not being done to the point where I have to reload the studies, not sure if the app wasn't fully thought through but just thought I should say something so these things can be fixed!!
Update Never Seems To Work
I keep being told to update my app. However, I never get an option to do that. I never seem to have an available update in the App Store. It just continues to say open and it leads me right back into the app. This is so irritating. Please fix!
