What's New in Version 3.1
Great news! This update offers new highly-requested scheduling options, such as doses every other day, every two weeks, or once a month. To add a more complex reminder schedule, begin by adding or editing an existing med. Toggle the new 'Advanced Schedule' option on, and use the scroll menus below to enter your schedule. You can also schedule meds to start in the future with the 'Start Date' field.
If you’re using our Apple Watch app, you may have noticed some stalling with the previous update. You’ll see greatly improved stability with this update, including clearer communication from us when the app is syncing with your iPhone.
Last but not least, you'll have the opportunity to see some friendly faces on the new "Invite Friends" card on your home screen. Tap on it for the opportunity to earn 10 points for each invitation you send, up to five friends (50 points).
Mango Tip: Pick up the phone and reach out to a friend, even if you only have time for a quick chat. Having strong social ties boosts health, by lowering stress hormones, increasing heart health, and more.
Best app ever!
I absolutely love this app. I have had horrible issues with forgetting my medications, not caring about missing a dose, etc for many years. Since using this app, I have been in remission from my Crohn's disease for quite some time! This is the first time in my life that I have been in remission since my diagnosis almost 10 years ago. I love this app more than I can express in words. It helps me have fun with keeping up with my medications! The reminders are great, as are the perks of getting points and a chance to be put in a drawing for prizes because I keep up with my medicines! I also LOVE that it puts percentages to my monthly and "lifetime" compliance of taking my medicines. I had never realized how much missing one or a few days could change the percentage, and the day streak since I missed a dose is a great perk that keeps me motivated! I cannot say enough good about this app! :)
Good at med management
I like the app. It does help to get me to take meds when I used to forget some of them. The app has a note that if you don't find your med/supplement email them and it implies that they will add it. Don't waste the typing as they won't even entertain the thought of adding anything else. They did say that they were thinking of giving users the capability of adding their own meds. But that came with a grave caution about the fact you would not know the interaction with your other meds. There is so much cautionary phrases you'd think I'd be dead now for taking a specific supplement they hadn't vetted. Since I've been taking it for almost 10 years, I am famously not dead yet.
I work a varying schedule which changes each day. I am not supposed to use my phone at work. So updating app is difficult. Especially the one I take late at night. I don't care about points or anything. I just want to record I took it. This app is not forgiving about that.
Ask for updates - Zilch done about it!
Don't get me wrong, this is an excellent app, but I find it disturbing when you can't find the prescriptions you're taking, but you have no problem finding the OTCs, which, thank goodness, you studied and found were contraindicative. I'm trying to stick with this app, because I think it's best for the average person taking a few pills, and I like helping out patients who aren't smartphone savvy. Nonetheless, my patience is growing thin after a year of correspondence with the author, providing detailed information about the prescriptions that aren't on their list, and yet they don't take the time to add it or prescriptions in the same family. There are a couple of other decent apps out there, which have a larger compendium of medications and supplements. I think I'll be switching back to one of them soon and I'll just keep this app to help me help other patients. It's a waste of bytes for me, but I believe helping others with this app trumps the availability of memory for other useful apps for me.
