Arigato for using Mango Languages! Love the app? Leave us a review!
Mango is perfect because there are no limiting levels or games that only pop up when you reach a certain level. When I taught myself Japanese to fluency I got in the habit of repeating whatever the locals said back to myself and that helped me become fluent in a year and half. Now I’m learning Tagalog and I don’t have Filipinos around me every day. Mango is like a library of knowledge for each language. They teach me phrases and then tell me histories behind each word and how they’re normally used. With my habit of repeating back everything that’s said I’ve found myself not only increasing in understanding my in-laws, but able to talk with my wife in Tagalog in casual conversations. And I’m only on Chapter 3!
Best language app
Used my library card before I moved to Iraq to study the Iraqi dialect of Arabic. I've tried countless apps and this has hands down been the most helpful to a foreigner in a new country. It's all phrases & things I actually use instead of "the girl eats" "the woman runs" etc. and it has been very true to their dialect which I'm very grateful for! The only thing I'd like to see is a little more in depth grammar info. For example I didn't realize at first some of things were specifically only said to one gender because it didn't show the other option.
This app is by far the best one out of all the ones I tried. I’ve really been wanting to learn Hawaiian but none of the apps had them until I found mango. It is amazingly effective and I already can say simple sentences and words. The only downside to this is that if you don’t have a library that supports mango. If Your library has access to mango or if Your ever visiting anywhere you should 10/10 get a library card to sign up. I love this app and recommend this to everyone. Mahalo!
