"This game will be bigger than Skyrim!” - Bill Corbett, Rifftrax/MST3K
WARNING: This is REAL retro gaming! Be prepared for vast, unique levels with challenging boss battles!
MANOS is an homage to the great games you remember from your childhood! Remember how every film and cartoon had it's own platform game adaptation? When every man, woman, child, animal and inanimate object were out to get your character? When the streets were filled with bats, ghosts and Frankenstein monsters? MANOS will take you back to the fantastically absurd games of the past!
Lost on their vacation, Mike and his family have wandered the desert trying to find a place to stay, only to wind up in the haunted Valley Lodge. Maintained by Torgo, an unusual man/satyr who "takes care of the place while The Master is away", the hotel is swimming with paranormal activity which Mike has to brave through to find his now missing family. Who is The Master, and what does he want with Mike's family? Armed with his trusty revolver, Mike will have to wander the haunted halls, venture out into the desert, uncover a dark temple and battle the forces of darkness to find out!
- Huge levels with boss battles at the end of each!
- True classic gameplay!
- 100% authentic retro style!
What's New in Version 1.2

Needs an Autosave!
Great game, love the classic NES feel. Standard complaints about the responsiveness of the touchscreen, though it is far better than many other games like it. My only real complaint, and to me it is a BIG one, is that there is no Autosave or manual save feature. I switch to other apps, and about 20 percent of the time when I return to Manos it is back at the start screen. I know it goes against some of the old school feel, but I don't want to have to play through this in one sitting every single time in fear that it may reset the next time I open it up.
For starters this game is a very well made game; full of challenges that can be overcome with skill. I have one problem with this game there is no save feature....all you have to do is have it save after completion of each level not that hard just do that add a continue button (every nes games had that) and a clear saves button in options and your good not that hard ok. Overall a good game but with a flaw that make the game so annoying that I had to play the game in one sitting which is unfair to the owner who paid 1.99 for the game.
Gen-X Gaming Heaven
I can't believe all of the whining about difficulty. If you want skill ramps, go play Angry Birds, you retina graphics babies! This is a platformer built for people who remember when games were hard... When you were forced to repeat the same segment over and over until you executed the moves perfectly... When you and your friends would hand the controller around to see who could get past the spot you were stuck... So get off my gen-x lawn ya whiny gen z whippersnappers! LOL
