If you upgrade to a premium MVP subscription, payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. The monthly subscription costs USD 5.99 per month, while the yearly subscription costs USD 29.99 per year, or USD 2.50 per month. Your subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. There is no increase in cost when renewing.

Subscriptions can be managed and auto-renewal turned off in Account Settings in iTunes after purchase. Once purchased, the current period cannot be canceled. Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited if you choose to purchase a premium subscription to MVP.

For Under Armour Connected Footwear users:

- If you have the latest Connected Footwear shoes with HOVR technology, this release includes periodic coaching tips personalized to you. Keep an eye out for the tips on the detail pages of runs completed with the shoes.

- To prevent unintended or errant data, only workouts longer than two minutes will sync from your shoes to the app.

- Workouts synced from your shoes are now saved according to your default workout sharing privacy setting.

- You can now find and add Under Armour Connected Footwear in Gear Tracker.

There’s no shortage of exercise-tracking apps available, but Map My Run+ is a truly comprehensive package for fleet-footed fitness fiends. Using GPS information, it effortlessly calculates your running (or hiking or biking) route, your pace, and calories burned. Easy-to-understand graphs show your strong areas and the places where you still need to progress. Hundreds of fitness-tracking wearables are supported (including Apple Watch), and connecting with your friends to share goals and workout milestones provides a boost of motivation when it’s needed most. Chili dog stand on your route? Just keep running.

Latest update broke things!

Edit: Latest update even worse. They removed log workout to be behind a menu, so I had to go searching for it since the app is pretty useless on a treadmill.

So I get ready to head out for my run tonight and start this up. I notice some things look a little different, but figure it's no big deal. But then I get part way through my run and realize that none of my splits are announcing. So I stop my run, pull my phone out, and realize that it's not even continuing to record - at least till I look at it, when it suddenly declares I did 1.5mi in 3 minutes! So I put it back and finish my run, and it seems to have gotten my distance right, but nothing else.

I’ve been a long time user of Map my walk and Map my run. I’ve always found it to be a hassle to dig the phone out of my pocket and pause it (at major intersections). When I got an Apple Watch I’d hoped this issue was resolved. Nope. Given the tiny little pause and end buttons in APP I’ve more than once hit to wrong button while on the move. Then you’re faced with either discard or save. Why not bigger buttons or a back button?
With other quality APPs out there I’d look around before committing. PS- the Map My Ride APP isn’t even Watch compatible.
