Happy runners agree!
"Fyi, yesterday... I ran 8 miles!!!! I had to switch a long run from Sat to Sun... Never thought I would be able to do that"
- Bill, Boston, MA

"Week before last I was prepared to quit the program as I left for my long run. I thought there was no way I could run for 1 hr and 30 min. The evening was beautiful, I headed up into the hills and soon enough I found myself a few miles from home... I ran for 1 hr and 50 min that day, registering 10 miles. That was the longest/furthest I had run in maybe 10 years."
- Stacy, San Francisco, CA

"The true test of the run was my recovery and I'm happy to report no joint or muscle pain the next day. If you hadn't set me up with the plan, I would NEVER have kept going."
- Melissa, NY, NY

"Thanks again for coaching me! I'm not quitting!"
- James, NY, NY

A good guide._

This app is good for making a plan for training and sticking too it. The integration of workouts into my daily calendar keeps me on task throughout the week. I like that I can tears he the schedule according to my life events (e.g. If I miss a days work out I can fix the plan to reflect a rest day and pick up where I left off the following day). The trainer app does exactly what it is supposed to do, plan your training for whatever running experience you want. I use it along side the Nike Running App, it tracks your running on a map (speed projected in colors), keeps time, distance, calculates minutes/mile, and stores all of your running and exercise details (feelings, and allows you to record notes about the exercise too). Both are VERY EASY TO USE and both have a multitude of features benefiting my solo training.

Best running App!!!!

This app is really good. Connects to map my run. Training options are good.

However, the über connectivity is not really there to track what you actually do. But have to add shortfalls for map my run.

GPS tracking of your run with music player to listen to your favorite tunes while in the run.

I didn't give it five stars for the following reasons:

1. No infinite stair machine (stair master) option.

2. When running or doing elliptical machine, the history of tunes played is truncated to first and last songs played during the whole time.

3. When doing any of the above machines (or treadmill), no option to tell it the pace or speed you are doing.

4. Since it collects information from the health app, not sure why it does not calculate calories based on what was actually done. I'm guessing this bc machine tells you calories burned based on weight you entered.

Nevertheless, I love the app.

Love the calendar integration (that was the original need) multiple training plans and setting of long run day. Wish the calendar notice would show what the workout entails rather than just an activity to compete. It would be nice if it had a pace calculator (Vdot, etc) or heart rate guidelines for easy, hard, pace, etc. overall, I like it and it's the best free one of its kind.
