Sometimes less is more. That’s why we’ll only show your next-next maneuver if it’s coming up quickly. You have enough to focus on while driving so we’re keeping it simple for you by only showing you need-to-know information.
The white bar at the top of your screen used to slowly scroll between your ETA and the distance from your destination. However, we don’t want you to wait for what you want to see. Now you can check your ETA, distance from destination, and how many minutes are left in your route all at once - no waiting for the bar to scroll necessary (or recommended).
We’ve already made it easy to quickly get directions to the places you go most, but we’re making it even easier (one tap easier to be exact). Now you can select your saved Home and Work addresses after tapping “Find Places" instead of only finding them under “Favorites.”
Have you ever thought, “Wait, am I speeding? Why aren’t there any speed limit signs?? The police will believe me if I said I didn’t know, right?” Now Speed Warnings will be in the corner of your screen by default! Our app one-ups your speedometer by telling you the current speed limit as well as whether you’re speeding or not - no mental math required.
We also made it so tacos magically appear every time you finish a route. No we didn’t. Just checking if you’re still reading. Congrats, you passed!
And as always, we fixed bugs and made search and data improvements so you can have the smoothest driving experience possible.

THERE IS NO COMPETITION!!!!!!
This is the most beautiful and amazing maps app I have ever used. It is very simple and to the point the layout is clear there's no pop ups of bull crap like all of the other maps. It has been so hard for me to find a navigation app because of Google maps and the others having so much advertisements paying for them to become popular,they are no longer accurate and become stressful to use!! Thank you very very very very very very much for the makers of this app I love you you have made my driving complete!!!!!

I absolutely LOVE this App!! It works perfectly and it's so easy to put the destination in or choose directly from your contacts!!
My husband and I both use this App all of the time. We just moved to another state, so -We really DEPEND ON THIS AWESOME APP!!
My husband travels out of the state and then has to drive sometimes for hours to his accounts and he RAVES about how great this App is. You can even add a stop. I like this better than the one in my car and it's faster to enter where you are going.

Better than the rest!
I luv this app compared to Google maps. Google would take me out of my way a few miles and always route me down TOLL roads. Google must have been collecting some type of fee from the TOLL companies. I got so fed up with that that I deleted it and now have been using MapQuest for about a year. Even after a year I have not been routed to a TOLL road unless traffic was so backed up with an accident. Thank you MapQuest and keep up the good work!👍👌
