Unstable, oversized, and cash hungry...
Each new "upgrade" is less stable and more money hungry, making this not only hard to play but increasingly a Pay to Win game. Example: To really score high on the leaderboard and get lots of crystal for it, you will pretty much need Six star Odin, Dormammu, and Thanos, all hard to just get and then hungry for hard to get materials, unless, of course, you spend lots of real money to buy crystal or special packs for the material. Grinding for it takes a very long time, and yet there are lots of players with them. All PvP content is like this. On top of that, the PvE content, such as that leading to Odin, is also getting hard enough for it to appear that they expect everyone to have these three sooner rather than later. The only things they appear to nerf are drops for coin and material. If you are new to the game, I would not recommend bothering with it.
Even if you just want to play to collect characters, every major update they release lately has one character that can ONLY be collected by paying $10 a month for the daily biometrics chest; it cannot be had by any other biometrics chest
I finally have given up on it. It is a memory hog, a money pit, and just plain no longer fun to play.
MONEY Future Fight
The content and gameplay is great don't get me wrong, however... The amount of greed and arrogance is ridiculous. Doesn't matter how long you've been playing, new players, seasoned players will eventually have to drop loads of money to advance or to get a recognizable rank, granted if you care about prestige. But if not, one can always play the long road by grinding and obtaining the minimum resources day by day but not enough to make you competitively decent.
Upgrading gear is based on luck as if you're gambling and usually requires a significant amount of resource such as in game currency, so you may or may not get the gear you wish for but mostly at a heavy cost to your wallet.
Versus mode is HIGHLY imbalanced, setting your low tiered heroes vs heroes that are fully maxed out (achieved by paying), because the developers are making a push to make players buy upgrades.
As for the freeze ups and crashes, I believe it's because due to server issues during hot time when everyone logs on and the fact that the game file is only getting bigger and bigger with every update and requires more memory and better performing game device.
Needless to say, this game is paywalled and I don't recommend to others unless you're willing to do either of what I mentioned earlier, and ask yourself, is it really worth it? Spending money to impress people you don't even know or like.
Massively Ambitious, Incredibly Engaging
The ever-broadening scope of this game is incredible, it's unprecedented and visionary, in both iOS gaming and the dungeon-crawler format. A host of intricate characters to play with attenuated skills and bonuses rooted in the Marvel canon, about 10 different totally unique game play modes, uniforms that totally transform gameplay. Its not a cash grab, you can actually go quite far for free. I pay because I want to support the development of the game, and because games of this quality and complexity cant come for free, it would be impossible. in Everyone who is invoking absurdly hyperbolic vitriol about the new update are jaded, and its a shame. The developers have consistently listened to player feedback and modified play accordingly. Keep it up MFF and NM. And thank you.
