Took a good long look at read offline. It should give you clearer feedback about what's currently and finished downloading, and downloaded reads should be much more consistent when you're offline.

Every once in awhile it sort of works
The app, and the website interface for marvel unlimited is terrible. You just need to accept that and decide to buy it anyway. It breaks almost every time there is an update, locking you out of your account and requiring a reset of your password. When it does work, it doesn’t work the way you’d want it to. If you decide to read an event, you think it would be as simple as clicking on the event and reading from start to finish. You’d be wrong. In the latest update you’ll see the whole event by series, and you might even be able to read them in order within each comic, but don’t think you can read them in the order they were released. So you can read the main event if it works, but then you’d read each side story after you’ve finished. That’s not how I like to experience it so I go and add everything that my library. I then sort oldest first, because the default is to read backwards. So everything you’ve ever added to your library is now in order. Find your startling point, read it. Now you can set to unread and start the event. Of course you can’t continue to the “next” after you read an issue, that would crazy. You have to go back to library and read the next unread issue. Reading lists don’t seem to work at all, I have no idea how they are supposed to work.
Maybe you can pick a point in an individual line and follow it through, but ive been trying to catch up on events since I joined and it’s much more trouble that it should be.
If only there were another option
I have been using this app for years and let me start by saying I am a huge marvel fan in general, I read comics, watch movies and shows, and am even thinking of starting up a marvel fantasy league (because screw football). But now I am at a loss. This app is my primary avenue to read comics and it is constantly broken. I have read the other reviews and it seems there is a consensus on the issues. It is times like these that I am that I am left heartbroken that the company I choose to follow with no small amount of zeal seems not to care. Let’s keep in mind that this is a subscription service I pay for monthly, on top of movies and collectibles. Marvel gets a significant chunk of my paycheck every year and while they get richer they seem to care less and less. I am writing this review at a point where I have not been able to use unlimited for several days. I don’t expect a refund or anything like that, but with persistent issues on a service we continue to pay for, it might be time to start thinking lawsuits, as in the long run all any company seems to think about is money. We will see how long I can last before I finally call it quits and accept they don’t care.
This app is amazing I bring read comics wherever I go. But I don’t why, but for some reason the comics weren’t loading. I thought I’d just reset it and it still didn’t work. So at times like this I just delete and redownload the app, because that always worked. Well, for some reason when I tried to sign back in it said my account was blocked and had to try again later or update my password. My dad and I use the same account and have been ever since we found the app. The app won’t let me reset the password and I don’t know what to do. Please send help.
