What's New in Version 1.7.2
Minor bug fixes.
for an app which does nothing but deliver text articles, it is surprisingly unstable. Stop working all the time and the only way to fix it is to uninstall and reinstall it. Not the end of the world, but it reflects poorly when a site, which claims to be about current tech news, cannot even make a stable app. use the website instead
additionally, this app takes up 600 MBs on my iPhone. Is it cacheing every article I read? Who knows? Takes up more space than any other app.
Lacking a lot of things
This app doesn't support videos that are integrated into the articles and it makes me mad because some articles are all
about the video. The app also needs support for in app galleries. I'd also like to see a place where I can save my articles to read later. Fix these and a few more problems with the app making it more like the website and it will be a lot easier to use.
I love Mashable (the website) and now there's more to love with the app! Articles are easy to read and they load pretty quick. Nice!
