Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
Too many passwords? Too difficult to remember safe ones? Well, here's an app that will let you use one master password to create and recreate all the safe passwords you could need.
First, you enter your master password, then enter an easy-to-remember key phrase. They are then "mashed" together, and, using the MD5 encryption algorithm, a password unique to the master password a key phrase is created.
Now copy the password, then exit the app. Enter the app or website for which you need the password, then paste it in. You won't need to remember it, since its so easy to recreate!
Use it all you want for free... If you want more features, one small In-app purchase will enable them: adjusting the output password size, upper/lower case selection and master password saving. You can also turn off off banner ads with in-app purchase and also control a message to tell you when your password is ready.
What's New in Version 1.2
Can now disable "Copied" message when options are enabled.
Updated for iOS6 and iPhone 5.
Tweaks and fixes.
Great concept, love it
For the pass phrase, I just use the site domain name. Hash that with a sufficiently long master, and you have a unique password for every site you'll ever use.
One problem, I can't seem to get the keyboard to disappear after visiting the options page, so I can't set options to anything different from the default.
A cool feature would be to allow different length and output options based on key phrase. That way if I use a domain name like 'bankone' for my key, I can specify a custom length/output, and I might have a different set of options for 'amazon'.
Keep up the good work.
