This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.
Master Schnapsen/66 plays two classic card games, Schnapsen and Sixty-Six. Many people consider them the best two-person card games, and we’re inclined to agree. Our app plays the games at three difficulty levels. At the Master level it’s a formidable opponent.
Schnapsen and Sixty-Six are like miniaturized versions of Pinochle, easy to learn and play well, but challenging to master. If you’re new to the game, there is a Suggest button that makes it easy to get up to speed. It’s like having an expert player to give you advice.

Great implementation of a great game
Schnapsen is a traditional card game that has been played for two hundred or so years in Central Europe. Card playing experts judge it to be one of the best two player card games in existence. So it is good news that this is a fantastic app for playing Schnapsen. The user interface is intuitive, the rules are clearly explained, and there is a "suggest" button that can help newcomers easily learn the game. What is more, when set to the "Master" skill level the computer opponent plays very well, so that even experienced Snchapsen players will enjoy using this app. Well done! If you like card games, get this app!
Excellent Game and App!
After playing hundreds of games against this app, I am impressed with every aspect of the implementation. The "master" opponent setting comes up with some clever (and vicious!) moves.
Schnapsen is a very fun game and isn't too hard to learn by playing through some games. This app can suggest moves for you, which is a good way to learn. Of course, you'll want to develop your own style of play!
One bug I noticed: if you close the app while it's dealing out the cards, you can't see the playing surface once you re-open the app. Hitting the "Suggest" button fixes this. Not a big deal.
I do have one idea for the developers. It would be interesting if the app could characterize your style of play and tell you more detailed statistics! A nickname system would also be funny.
This is a great implementation of two great two-player Pinochle-like games. I'd LOVE to see this developer put out some more two-player card game apps... Piquet, Pinochle, and Belote if you're taking suggestions!
