Invaluable Math Reference for the Classroom or Home
This is an excellent reference tool for both the classroom and home. My wife (an 8th grade math teacher) keeps a set of the print version of the "Math Dictionary for Kids" in her classroom, and she recommends the app to her students who have an iPad. The app has been invaluable on those occasions that my son needed to look up a math concept while doing his homework. The definitions are accurate, clear, and easy to use.
This should be re-labelled simply “Math Reference”. It's use far exceeds “just for kids”. In fact, why not make a series for upper-level math, as well?
Inaccuracies mar this app
My guess is the developer rushed through the content development stage. I found errors right away, so I started spot checking to see if it was isolated. Alas it is not, there are numerous issues, either from ignorance or simple laziness.
