This is the best flash card program I've seen. While the default provides multiple choice answers, you can shut it off so your child needs to enter the answer. You can also specify which numbers are used in the problems. For example, if they need to work on the x8, you can select just the 8's for them.
The app produces a "report card" of how they did. Only down side is that there isn't a date/time associated with the report card. Ended up having my kids enter the date as the student name. Easier for me to track their work.
This has been a great app for my 7 & 10 year old. They've gotten really good at their times tables with this.
