Maven gives you access to new cars, loaded with technology. In 12 cities across the U.S., you can get a car or SUV for errands, a weekend trip, moving day, or anything else!
Signing up is easy. Simply download the app and submit your driver’s license and a valid credit card – you won’t be charged anything until you make a reservation. Once approved, you can reserve a car immediately! No need to wait for an access card – everything from reserving to unlocking the car is done right in the app.
INTRODUCING MAVEN GIG
Now you can use Maven Gig to drive to earn money! With Maven Gig, you can rent a car for as little as one week to drive for any ride sharing service, as well as delivery services such as Roadie, GrubHub, and Instacart. Insurance, maintenance, unlimited miles, and charging for the Chevrolet Bolt EV are all included.
To become a Maven Gig member, simply:
• Be 21 years or older.
• Have a valid U.S. driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Provide a valid credit or debit card.

Great Cars + Functionality
I don’t know why this has been getting negative reviews...my experience has been great. The app is nice, and the cars are amazing. I rented out a Cadillac ATS 2017 with a turbocharged engine for only $10/hr, the same price as renting a Ford Focus from ZipCar! Due to the quality of cars and prices, I think this is the best ride sharing app out there (although Zipcar has FAR more locations).
Making changes on reservation
The app concept is nice, but it really doesn't work. Very frustrating to deal with!
Could use some work
I didn’t experience quite the same issues as others have expressed but nonetheless wasn’t a five star experience.
I signed up and was immediately able to reserve a vehicle👍🏾. I reserved a Chevy Cruze, a few weeks in advance for $80/day rates for around $700+ nearly $800 (Under 25 so compared to other rental options this was a steal). 15 minutes before my reservation time the app alerted me and encouraged I get there on time👍🏾. USB port for CarPlay didn’t work👎🏾(seeing as it was the cheapest vehicle per hour and day I frequently checked the app and it was the most used vehicle so I expected some form of damage) but no worries I had an aux cord with me. While driving I notice a message saying check tire, I get to work and to my surprise there’s s donut. I immediately emailed support to alert them of all issues I found(Car was dirty, Spare tire, Needed oil change, usb didn’t work, etc..). Support calls because the previous driver told them they hit a curb and put on the spare(My email was responded to around 6 days later👎🏾). The rep asked me to return the vehicle and they would change my car👍🏾. Returned the car, called support after nearly 2 hours and being placed on hold a thousand times the rep wanted me to pay for a Chevy Malibu at $100/day at $800+ almost $900 dollars while waiting 5 days for a refund on the purchase I just did👎🏾. Placed on hold some more while trying to charge my debit card, to no avail because my bank is declining the charges for possible fraud☺️. Which I completely agreed with as I got an email from my bank for each attempt. Rep finally says they’ll give me a no charge reservation which I figured was possible all along and should have been done in the first place👍🏾👍🏾👎🏾👎🏾.(mixed feelings about that entire situation) The Malibu was a luxurious upgrade and I was very happy with it. Support needs to be managed much better though. 2 hours to resolve an issue that shouldn’t have been an issue in the first is unacceptable👎🏾.
