Mbrane is an all-new multiplayer game that combines the logic of Sudoku, the strategy of Chess, the swings of Backgammon, and the excitement of Risk.
Harnessing the power of Sudoku, Mbrane transforms the puzzle into a multiplayer turn-based game. In the same class of games as Chess and Go, Mbrane is easy to learn (only 9 rules and a short tutorial) and quick to play (games last about 10-15 minutes—perfect for commutes!)
The gist: Unlike the Sudoku puzzle, an Mbrane starts out empty. Players vie for control of territory by placing numbers on the gameboard. These numbers carry value, granting Power & Influence, and skillful placement is the key to victory.
Mbrane is an excellent educational game for kids of all ages, exercising pattern recognition, basic number math skills, and analytic thinking.
For fans of such strategy classics as Chess, Go, Othello, Xiangqi, Shogi, Gomoku, Dominoes, Mahjong & Backgammon, and modern classics such as Settlers in Catan, Carcassonne, Risk, Civilization & Neuroshima Hex, Mbrane is sure to be a favorite.
“Go is the ancient game, Chess the medieval. Now we have the modern game, and it's name is Mbrane.”

Ratings and Reviews
So much fun!
This game is so much fun to play. Interesting spin on sudoku. I also love the fact that the developer doesn’t get access to any of my contacts or private information. I was more games were like this.
Sudoku with an edge!
When the rhythm of sudoku becomes too constant, this game picks it back up. The multiplayer aspect makes it friendly and competitive. Rocks that someone pushed sudoku to the next level.
I like playing against the computer when I get bored in class, trying to get a total victory is tough
PvP is where it shines, the resolution mechanic is an anxiety filled finish to the game.
