Better but still pretty laughable

Many improvements over the horrible old version but...removed schedules from app? Much less convenient, it kicks you out to Safari now. Here's a tip--let us choose our line (how many of us use multiple commuter lines anyway?)...then show us ticket purchases and SCHEDULES for that line by default. It is trivial to ascertain current day/time and display the relevant schedule by default. Also trivial to allow location to default to outbound/inbound. The APIs are there, please USE them and make us a proper app!

Terrible update

The newest update (sep 27) has for some reason removed the schedule lists within the app, instead linking out to a website with train times. This is not understandable given that train times are at least half the reason one would use this app. Bad update to an app that was fine before.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE-PLEASE REVERT TO VERSION 1.21.0

I would give negative stars if I could.

This app just went from bad to absolutely awful. The mbta tried to create the illusion that it's better by making the theme flashier and adding a few features like purchasing multiple tickets at once, buying a recent trip with more ease and splitting tickets between 2 cards.

However, those of you who use this app every day like me know how bad the "schedules" page was...you had to select inbound or outbound, don't forget to tap "redisplay time" oh yeah, and if you had to check your school schedule and then flip back to the mticket app, It brought you to the home page and you had to start that process all over again!! Well, the way the way the mbta updated this is by REDIRECTING YOU TO THE EQUALLY AS DIFFICULT MBTA WEBSITE!!!! I mean REALLY?!?! Almost a year of development and this is what we get?!?! They seriously just couldn't have improved the old format? Apparently the mbta never read the feedback from version 1.21 because many people addressed this annoying issue. Not only that, but social media, help, schedules and alerts have all been hidden in a drop-down menu. Also, the system map has been removed so if your a first time rider, good luck figuring out how much to pay for your zone.

Not sure if the old app used a lot of data but be aware that by clicking "schedules" you will automatically be redirected to your internet browser.

Also, after watching the news I don't appreciate the mbta blaming their losses on "fare evasion" when 90+% of their customers purchase monthly passes, 10 rides or pay fair n' square like myself. Also, if they had just read the feedback from the last version, I think we would have a much better product.

I'm probably wasting my time writing this seeing as no one from the mbta will ever see this.

But, if you do decide to read this: PLEASE REVERT TO THE OLD FORMAT AND IMPROVE THE SCHEDULES PAGE.

I digress...
