mDiab is a modern and innovative solution for the assistance of diabetic patients. You manage an electronic log book in which you record your self-monitoring data, such as blood glucose values, injected insulin, bread units and sport activities . Furthermore, you can record your weight, blood pressure and take pictures. The taken photos support the documentation of the diabetic foot syndrome or complications during wound healing process.
mDiab offers a simple and intuitive user interface with four main components: input, output, communication and tools.
The input of data is quick and easy realized in one clear step. You have the ability to store recurring entries in the Assistant. The information preset in the Assistant will help speed up the input of data. Based on the preset information, the Assistant knows for example that at 7:00 AM you are probably ready for your breakfast and how much bread units (BU) you usually take. Of course, you always have the possibility to make any changes.
The output provides a log book with data presented in a chronological order. A filter helps you to have a view of only selected data. In addition, your data can be visualized in a statistical way. In this case, trends and deviations will be graphically presented in pies and line charts. Now the diary data can be exported to a csv file.
In the settings of iPhone/iPad you can personalize your mDiab by setting preferred units and alert limits for hyper and hypoglycemia. The medication list facilitates the choice of the medication you take. A reminder, a BMI calculator and an insulin calculator extends the functionalities of the application.
Further versions of mDiab, which allow the integration of your treating physician, will be offered. Further information on this topic and on the versions can be found under www.mdiab-health.com.

Nothing Works. Nicht! Nein!
Bye-bye $6.00; what-a-waste. Paid for diabetic foot photo capability. Grabs a photo from your library but doesn't remember/retain 'em. Nothing there when you return to the Gallery. Says you can change units in all versions, but you can't. Being diabetic, one needs to track ALL MEDICATIONS taken, not merely diabetic medicine, in case there is a conflict among the meds. Uh, nein. Night vahr!
Best (and only) App to list the new (PenFill) cartridge insulin injectors.
First I got this for 5 bucks, but it's not the pro so all functions don't work. Looked for pro it's not offered ???? WTH. Then I go to input my glucose and it's not in reg numbers. Highest input 28. Well I don't use that measurement. Nor do I have a meter that does so I'm screwed can't use it beware !!!!
