Our nationwide network of U.S. board certified doctors or pediatricians are ready to assist you with non-urgent medical diagnosis via your MDLIVE for Cigna app 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and even holidays.
Straight from the MDLIVE for Cigna app, our online doctors can diagnose your symptoms for non-urgent medical issues, prescribe some medications, and send the prescription directly to your pharmacy of choice.

MDLIVE is an independent company/entity and is not affiliated with Cigna. The service, website and mobile app is provided exclusively by MDLIVE and not by Cigna. Providers are solely responsible for any treatment provided. Not all providers have video chat capabilities. Video chat is not available in all areas. MDLIVE services are separate from your health plan’s provider network. Telehealth services may not be available to all plan types. A Primary Care Provider referral is not required for MDLIVE services. In general, to be covered by your plan, services must be medically necessary and used for the diagnosis or treatment of a covered condition. Not all prescription drugs are covered. All group health insurance policies and health benefit plans contain exclusions and limitations. See your plan materials for costs and details of coverage, including other telehealth/telemedicine benefits that may be available under your specific health plan.

Downloaded the app, set up account, scheduled an appointment, had a phone call with the doctor. All went smoothly. I would have given the app 5 stars but I cannot add dependents in the app for some reason and I’d like to be able to do that without problems. If you just need to use the app for yourself it’s great! If you need it for a covered family member it requires each family member to create their own account, which is fine, but I can’t get it to work. I’ll call customer service.
We heard about this service from a coworker and decided to try it when my son woke up with pink eye Sunday morning. The doctor called my phone in about 10 minutes and the prescriptions were ready to pickup one hour later!!! Very impressed. Will definitely use it again. The one thing I would improve is to show some kind of waiting time so you know how long is going to take to see a doctor.
Unable to schedule appointments
I was unable to schedule appointments because the benefits server(s) seem to always be down. So I tried online via various web browsers. I got further, but never to the point of confirmation. It finally took downloading the MDLIVE (non-CIGNA Version) to get anywhere. Very frustrating.. Oh!! And, the stupid thing keeps asking for a pin, but every time I’d enter one the next login I’d have to reset it because the system never recognized it. Time to give up or fix the bugs... Or... just work off the unbranded version.
