The Third Chapter in the Mega Man Saga

Defeated by Mega Man and shown the error of his ways, Dr. Wily renounces evil and helps Dr. Light develop the massive robot "Gamma." But all is not well: One day, the robots dispatched to eight mining planets go haywire! Mega Man sets off with Rush at his side to uncover the cause of this interplanetary crisis!

Please Note:
・The gameplay and difficulty have been optimized for smartphones so that certain elements will differ from the original game.

・Confirm that your device meets the minimum specs

"Rush," your mechanical pal. Mega Man 3 was the first game in the series to feature the now-familiar robot dog, Rush! Built to aid in all tactical situations, Rush can transform into a jump pad, a jet, or a submarine!

Mega Man 3 also introduced sliding to the series. Some narrow spaces can only be navigated by sliding through them!

Hold down + jump while playing to slide. You can also use this technique to move quickly and dodge attacks!

This version features a choice of two difficulty modes.

・Normal Mode - (Unlimited continues) The continue screen is displayed whenever Mega Man dies. Selecting Continue allows you to restart from the last checkpoint you passed in the current stage.
・Hard Mode - This challenging mode limits your number of continues, and enemy attacks deal more damage. There are also fewer checkpoints within stages.

OPTIONS (The following settings can be adjusted in-game.)
・Sound - Increase the number to raise the volume.
・Vibration - Set to "On" to have your device vibrate when Mega Man takes damage. (Default setting: On) Note: This option will not be displayed on devices with no vibration function.
・Attack - Auto: Hold the attack button for rapid-fire Mega Buster shots. Manual: Each press of the attack button fires one Mega Buster shot. Tap repeatedly for rapid-fire shots.(Default setting: Auto)
・Speed - Choose between Normal and High to adjust gameplay speed.
・Key Config - Change position of the in-game attack button and jump button.

Low Quality and Horribly Laggy Recreation

Ever heard the phrase "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"? Capcom didn't. This remake of Mega Man 3 did not have the proper love it deserves. Even the original port of Mega Man 2 on the App Store was much better. The game suffers from an absolutely terrible framerate at all times, which throws me off when my press of the Jump or Shoot buttons fail to register, causing me to hit an enemy and/or fall down a bottomless pit. And I'm on a 6S Plus, so it's not my hardware. That alone makes the already low quality recreation here even worse because it's that much harder to play. But that doesn't excuse other things, like how timings for enemy attacks are very off. Muscle memory worked very against me in this port because of how different enemies moved. I just can't imagine how the other 5 games suffered from this lack of polish.

I'm gonna be blunt. This feels like a poor Flash remake of the game, and that's an insult to Flash content creators, because I've seen great stuff made in Flash.

Needless to say, I'll continue using an emulator, thank you. Skip this one and the other Mega Man Mobile titles. Not worth your money.

Mega Man, what the hell happened?

If you do research, you'll find that these ports are just revised versions of the flip phone versions of the original Mega Man games. That doesn't justify the choppy frame rate, bad controls, and overall lack of heart. Just in general, action-platformer Mega Man games can't work on touch screens, there's too much precision required when playing, so expect to die a lot. There's options like infinite lives and high speed which alleviate these issues, but not by a whole lot. If you want to play good versions of the original 6 Mega Man games, just but Mega Man Legacy Collection on 3DS.

Terrible, Terrible controls

This game is a shell of the NES version. You get ONE life per game, which is not even an issue since you cannot jump from platform to platform. You cannot use the jump button and the control stuck button at the same time- one always overrides the other. So you can imagine what it's like playing a game where every single level requires jumping from moving platform to moving platform. I don't even think this game was tested before being released. Don't buy until they do an update, or you'll waste your $2.00.
