RETWEET WITH A TAP
Retweeting interesting links (but not overdoing it!) is a great way to build your following on Twitter while sharing the cool stuff you find. Memes makes it super easy to do just that.
IT'S LIKE THE DIGG OF TWITTER
Memes is like Digg, but powered by Twitter. Inside each category, you'll find the most heavily tweeted links during the past 24 hours. It's so easy, we guarantee you'll find something cool.
INSTAPAPER FOR LATER
Memes lets you mark anything to be read later inside Instapaper. Simply head to your iPhone's 'Settings' app and enter your Instapaper username and you're good to go! A 'Read Later' button will appear automatically in the top bar when viewing any link inside Memes.
PLAYS WELL WITH TWEETIE
If you've got Tweetie 2 installed, turn on 'Tweet with Tweetie' in your iPhone's settings app. Then, when you tap retweet inside Memes, the tweet will open in Tweetie 2.
FULL OAUTH SUPPORT
We're fully committed to your privacy. Memes uses OAuth to log you in to Twitter so your password is never stored on your device or sent to us.
What's New in Version 1.3
Thanks for your continued support! If you like this app, please consider reviewing it on the App Store. Your great reviews keep us going :)
- Fixed blank tweets
- Built in bit.ly shortening for links
- Removed reliance on TweetMeme 'retweet' field
- Improved display of tweet counts with more than 4 digits
Pretty bad really
Most of the time it can't resolve the link URLs, so not much point in using this. I like the concept, and have been using this for a while, but it's frustrating that it doesn't work as expected. At this time, I can't recommend this app.
