If you would like to restore the Extreme Clean feature that you purchased via Memory Clean 1 on Memory Clean 2, please do not delete Memory Clean 1 until you have opened Memory Clean 2, gone to the Preferences panel and restored the purchase via the 'Extras' tab. Note: Memory Clean 2 works by purging the Mac's inactive memory and is best used when you close an intensive app that you do not plan to use again quickly within a few hours. During the cleaning process, older Macs may slow down until the cleaning is complete.

Great App by Great Team of Developers
This app is one of my favorite Menu Bar Apps, mainly because of it’s simplicity and it also just works. One small bug I’ve noticed is that the icon stays on despite Icon Visible being turned off in it’s Preferences box. It’s not a big deal, really, other than taking up a bit more space on my already stuffed Menu Bar, but I thought I should just point it out here so they can fix it soon. Other than that the app deserves a 5 star rating. It’s a very useful app, and FIPLAB should be lauded for giving us such an app for free.
EDIT: They fixed the bug quite rapidly, and now the app is back to it’s usual cheerful self, and so am I :) 5 STARS ONCE AGAIN!
An Absolute Essential
Hands down, the most welcomed and used utility app on my Mac. I have used Memory Clean since 2012 on all my Mac systems and can't imagine trying to run one without it now. MC helps free up and maintain my RAM usage so I'm never bogged down and applications never lag or run sluggish. Even when working for long periods of time in Final Cut Pro or Photoshop, MC runs like a workhorse, keeping as much free memory available as possible and keeping my system running at optimal speeds. UI is clean, user-friendly, and easy to understand and navigate. An absolute essential for anyone looking to take control of their Mac's power.
The good slob
I downloaded this product a while back and I used it once and then forgot about it, but I’m the kind of person who likes to leave applications open and that can slow things down and become annoying. When I went to use Memory Clean two weeks ago the upgrade, Memory Clean 2 was available so I decided….can’t hurt…and it was a pleasant surprise. When I see what apps. use up the most energy I close them out when not in use and when I check the menu bar at the top of my iMac it’s there to see. Works for me!
