Ratings and Reviews
The App and the delivery have been flawless over more than a dozen uses over the last few months. The driver picked up order errors made by the restaurant on 2 occasions and corrected the order before leaving the restaurant. One those occasions the driver called to let me know that there would be a delay. The only downside is that it's quite pricey with a lot of add on charges. That bothers but doesn't deter me because of the broad range of restaurants to select from, the ease of ordering, and the quality of service.
Former delivery driver here. If you live in the Tyler/Longview area and are thinking about using MenuRunners, don’t. Just use waitr, they are faster and reliable. You see, when you place an order, it’s sent to a dispatch that’s suppose to call in orders. However, most frequently these dispatchers do not place orders on time and sometimes they don’t place orders at all because they are lollygagging around. So this puts the drivers in a bad situation because we aren’t delivering orders on time and therefore we have to handle with angry customers. So if y’all wondered why your orders were taking forever, it’s because dispatch doesn’t care when to place your order.
Great service but lots of glitches.
I love using this app to order food as I'm always busy with class and work and don't always have time to grocery shop or cook. But it is SO ANNOYING how every other day the app glitches. They take orders from 11-3 and 5-9 but many times when you attempt to order during those hours it will say that you have to wait until hours later to place the order or have it delivered. Wish they would fix it for once and all.
