This app extends Cisco Meraki cloud management to your iOS device, letting you easily monitor your Meraki wireless, switch, security appliance, or camera network.
View the status of your network at a glance, quickly identifying healthy or offline devices. See the details of any Meraki device on your network and use live tools to verify network connectivity. Monitoring another Meraki network is as easy as selecting it right from the app.
Adding network capacity is simple: using the app, scan the barcode of your new device to add it to your network. It will automatically connect to the cloud, provision itself, and appear in your list of devices.
The most important data about your network is neatly summarized. Daily, weekly, and monthly usage graphs show traffic patterns on your network, and top client charts reveal bandwidth-hungry devices and the mix of iOS, mobile devices, and desktop platforms in your environment.
Want to see something new? Make a wish right from the app — just shake it!

Great for High-Level, Real-Time Monitoring
First, to be clear: This is not an administrative app; for the most part, it will not allow you to MODIFY the settings of your Meraki devices.
That said, it will provide you with a high-level, real-time overview of your Meraki infrastructure, including access points, clients, SSIDs, and support cases, as well as appropriate reporting information for each, including line charts of each. In addition, it provides basic troubleshooting tools such as ping, tracert, throughput, and remote reset. For these purposes, it is quite useful.
It would certainly be nice if Meraki made a version that exposed true administrative controls; without that, the app only satisfies a limited role. As is, it's administrative capabilities, beyond the above mentioned troubleshooting tools, are limited to basic metadata management, such as renaming an access point, taking a photo of its mounting, or disabling an SSID; not terribly useful, but a start.
Not Performing as Advertised
Pretty worthless for use with MDM. It used to reflect active and online clients with a Green indicator and that stopped working months ago. Been promised it will be fixed since last October and it's now January 2017. Data warning limits are sporadic and 12-15 of my 50+ lines have to be manually reset at the beginning of each month. They promised a fix there also...still waiting. Glad I only signed a 1 year contract on the MDM as I won't be renewing. For a company that is owned by a giant like Cisco they should be fixing problems not making excuses and promises they can't keep.
For MDM/EMM management, the app is pretty useless. Gives me an overview of my devices and that is about it.
I have to hit a web session or switch to a laptop/desktop to actually manage devices.
