What's New in Version 1.41

Fixed a bug that could cause some players to crash when reaching level 75. Also, holy cow you guys already reached level 75? I am impressed!

Previous 1.4 Update Notes

There's a new resale value for all items. See it is hard to be a Merchant in today's busy space life. The second you buy a fancy blaster or alien orb it begins to depreciate in value. Now you'll have to make sure to upgrade all items of you'll take a loss when selling.

Also, I did some things that needed being done. Like typos (oops) and places text got cut off, and rendering bugs on some devices.

I also fixed a bug that would prevent players from getting past level 51. And I found a place where we didn't display your galactic credits using 64 glorious bits.

All of this combined makes for a pretty sweet update if I do say so myself, and I do, say so... myself. Please tell your friends, your mom, your friends mom and that one guy who would really love this game, but hasn't played it.

An excellent game

This is the game designed for those of us less interested in going and fighting the aliens and more interested in making money in a sci-fi world. In running your own shop, you buy and sell equipment to would-be space adventurers. You're also given the ability to improve the items you sell, improve your shop's abilities, and (oddly) improve your ability to improve ... no kidding. While the game does get a little repetitive, there's a lot of surprisingly-engrossing fun to be had here. Minutes disappear surprisingly quickly while playing. This game is a lot like solitaire; simple design, easy to learn, fun to play. My ONLY complaint is that you do eventually top out and there's nothing left to buy as improvements, but that's true in any game. Would be sci fi shopkeepers take note: this is the game for you, and the best I've yet found on the app store.

Great game

I love MBtS; it's one of those games that's simple in design but it really has a learning curve. Being a merchant in space isn't easy, and you gotta learn the ropes before you can actually make a profit. I spent a good hour on the bus playing this game until I got officially bored (And few [mobile] games actually get my attention like that)

I only get a smidge sad because this is a sci-fi style game, and there's no fantasy rpg version :'I THAT would make my day. But alas, this game is brilliant and actually requires you to think if you wanna make a profit.

Very deserving of its five stars.

Pretty good

I like this game. For some reason I want to say that I'd rather feel indifferent about it, but I don't know why. I think this is the sequel to Merchant to the Stars because they have the same systems. I believe this one applies the concept better but it is also harder than To the Stars because the items have resale values. The first time playing this I was struggling with money. I wasn't willing to sacrifice rare items. But by playing Merchant to the Stars, I think I will get the hang of this game now.
