The American Indian

The American Indian should be viewed just under God. I am talking about JESUS Christ our God.

In your dictionary, which I use moment by moment, the greatest dictionary in the world, made for dummies like me, who can't spell, and want to expand their vocabulary... Lists the country India first, as an Indian, and our American Indian second.

I find that rude and thoughtless. That is like putting The President of the United States after a mayor or God after satan. I doubt you can or will change it, but it does not show respect, integrity, or gratitude. I am just a white boy and it just effects you, but I got to use your dictionary, because I can't find one better.

Webster... I think it must be the oldest dictionary in the world. I had to have it all thru school. I am 66 and I can imagine studying the Bible without it. It is the easiest book or software to use. I find it the most accurate in my studies. I think I have one more than 50 years old. It still list gay as happy. Ain't that something.

When I am not reading the Bible I sometimes just read your dictionary. You can touch other words while looking up words and find their meaning instantly. The learning abilities it has are endless. Like God or the Holy Bible...

Thank you Mr. Webster,

This is my favorite dictionary app. The presentation is downright gorgeous (I love the red circle they use as the logo)! The makers of this app deserve praise for skillfully finding a balance between being thoroughly detailed and being excessively bloated (as Fairfield's Dictionary app is). This dictionary sometimes offers clarification on synonyms (i.e.- the implicit difference between annoy, vex, irk, and bother), and this feature really helps you write with razor precision. The word of the day is also interesting, particularly the etymology comments. As an English major, I can't tell you how much this app has helped me in writing composition papers and formulating interpretations on poems and stories.

You know what would revolutionize this app? A couple of widgets for the drop down today screen attached to it...

1. Word of the day in the today drop down screen.

2. Ability to quickly look up a word in the today dropdown screen, instead of having to go into the phone and find the app itself.
