Every reported covert U.S. drone strike. See @dronestream for sources and citations.
Good news awareness source!
This app does something important - it raises awareness about important news regarding violent attacks by the U.S. in other countries.
I agree with those who day they wish it linked to more information, but they should go read about how hard it was to get Apple to allow this app to exist. If it was _more_ useful and informative, it might have been rejected. Talk about perverse incentives! Look up news about "iPhone app Drones" to read about how Apple tried to silence this developer.
Regarding those who blindly trust the U.S. government on its basis for strikes - please go read more. The U.S. government has knowingly killed innocents, classed any adult male as a "militant," done so-called "double-tap" attacks that kill medical teams responding to the first hit, and knowingly targeted weddings and funerals. Basically, committed flat-out terrorism.
Finally we can track when we kill some raghead that's with someone that might do something at some point in the future. Not to mention those pesky nonradical American teenagers that are looking for their dad. All hail King Obama. He is the Alpha and the Omega. The judge, jury, and executioner. Will this app track the drone hits here in the US? Either by our own government or when other country's start killing off our citizens that are with someone that might do something at some point in the future.
Apple intentionally rejected this app multiple times due to it’s relevance to US security issues. IE the fact that we use drones to destroy populations.
Finally, the app was accepted to the store even though it didn’t change much from when it was first proposed in 2012. Please support this app, it contributes to the way that civilians and people can use technology to uncover and think about how we go about protecting the world’s population.
