Great game, but...
At the beginning, this is truly a well made game. The micromon are fun and the story, although kinda easy, is quite a bit of fun to play.
The end game is terrible. There is little to do after the main mission is over, and receiving diamonds is next to impossible without paying for them. I'd like to see a daily reward system or anything that could give diamonds at a rate where you can actually receive cool features. The worst part about the end game though, is the farming to try and get better Micromon. I'd say it takes about 1-2 hour average to find the super rare micromon that you're looking for, and then it's a micromon that isn't a 10 D.R. making it almost worthless to catch and train (that being if you can actually catch it in 3 tries). The spawn rate for these 10 D.R. rare micromon are either to small or to hard to catch. Another thing that is way to annoying for me as a casual player is Vaithe with his slam. This move is way to OP, with a high hit rate and what seems to be a stun every time it hits, this has rendered online mode rather unplayable for me as of late, and the dodges can be a bit high in just the single player mode. Although I had enjoyed the game quite a bit, the lack of diamonds and micromon is such a turnoff, making me bored of this game quicker than it should.
Love it the ending blow my mind and I would love to see more in 2.0 maybe add trading with friends oh and also a friend log so us as gamers can add our friends to battle and trade with each other. And for 2.0 do some side mission where we have to find legendary mircomon or if not that like have hidden places we need to find to capture the legendary mircomon. More I'm call them gym leaders I would like to see more of them but like have the player travel to a different region like Pokemon. I mean it will be hard to come up with another main mission for the game but um I was think world destroy but they was save by a guardian mircomon that gave them a second chance or save them from the blast then they would have to travel to do battles to from out Info on how to awaken a legendary mircomon that can help fix the world and put everything back to normal. So these are my idea hoe you like it if you want to see if I got more I can be contacted by kik @ _imsoborednow_ |can't wait till the update :)
Stands up to Pokemon titles
For a game on iOS this feels great. It takes that Pokemon feel and puts it in your pocket for 99cents. I was skeptical at first and didn't want to pay for a weak copy of the Nintendo titles but it did not disappoint. It takes a new spin on the tried and true and adds many quality of life aspects such as a loot system being able to choose whether to battle trainers instead of being funneled into forced battles. You also get health after each encounter so you don't have to use potions or heal as much. The story is immersive from the start but the ending is surprising to say the least. It's not a perfect game but it is pretty polished and a good substitute for going through the hassle of getting emulators on your phone. It was a bit surprising to see IAP in the game but there is no pay wall and if you're willing to grind you can get everything you need. As someone who has played Pokemon since gen 1 it's great for killing time and scratching that itch. 5 stars
