Apple pen star

I researched a long time and tried a few note taking apps. This is the best. This app is my favorite part of having an iPad Pro. The apple pen works great, I can have notebook paper, graph paper, etc. And the organization is AWESOME. I have several notebooks. Think of them as your three ring binders, and in each notebook you have several sections. Then when you create notes you are creating the pages in the different sections. When taking notes, it is easy to add pictures, links, copied text from the Internet, or even sound bytes. Right now you cannot keep writing while taking notes if it's recording a sound byte, but I expect that will improve. With the iPad Pro you can use the split screen, which I do all the time. For example, while in a lecture I might split my screen and quickly go to the web and get the picture of the one giving the lecture with their brief bio and insert it in the note. I type the notes, but sometimes quickly change to the pen and circle, draw, or write a little reminder next to the note. I take pictures of the whiteboard and insert them right in the note. (There is a great Microsoft app that does great at taking pictures of whiteboards). And if I hear a "quote" I like used by the one giving the one teaching, I quickly split my screen, search the Internet for the quote, copy and past it in my note, and I can highlight as well. I love this app.

It is one of my most-used apps on my iPhone.

I wanted a good, simple, cross-platform organization and note taking app. OneNote is just that. It looks and works the same from my iPhone, my PC, my Mac or a web browser, and that is one of its best features. It syncs so well, I can leave a page in the middle of a sentence on my iPhone, walk into the other room and continue typing on my laptop. One of the other features which makes it so great is the highly adjustable fonts, which includes bold, italics, and underline.

If I could only have one productivity/ writing/ editing/ note taking app (which I basically have now) on all my devices which includes browser access from 'other' devices, it would be Microsoft OneNote, hands down.

It is one of my most-used, most valued and best working apps on my iPhone. Yes, iPhone. I actually put it on my iPhone first, as I had several other Microsoft apps on there which work better than any others I had tried. OneNote is no exception, and may actually be the best one.

The most convenient notebook you'll ever carry

I have been using OneNote over several devices and for several years. The ability to access my notes on all of my devices- both Apple and Microsoft- and from anywhere is life-changing.

I use the GTD method to keep my busy professional life organized, so it's important to me to be able to add a note at any time. It helps me stay organized, up-to-date and is totally portable. I was on a flight without wi-fi yesterday and made some notes on s new page. I know those note pages will update today and I can easily find all of those random thoughts that popped into my head.

If you're like me and wake up in the middle of the night with random - but really good - ideas, it's easy to create a page and jot them down and go back to sleep. I have used other note taking programs, but this if, by far, the best.
