Customer Reviews

I am an Apple devote and passionate brand loyalist. I have Mac computers, an iPhone 6Plus and an iPad. But also a Microsoft Surface, for what it's worth. For literally a handful of years now, since switching from PC to all things Apple, I have used the Apple Pages and Apple Numbers apps. And after many years of mastering MS Word and the whole Office suite, I adapted to Apple Pages and other apps. Mind you, with surprising frustration. After Microsoft made MS Word and others available for iPhone I downloaded them each. From this version of Word to those on the Mac (365) I just cannot and will not go back to anything but Microsoft's Office programs for Apple. It is SOOO refreshing to come back to the very-superior Word. I LOVE that I can use this on my Apple products, all. This version of Word is spectacular. Microsoft is a great software company and, frankly, despite there now being several alternatives to MS Office, there just isn't anything as good. This is a terrific app. And, it works beautifully with cloud platforms. I am THRILLED to be back to MS Office. I won't leave Apple's products, but Microsoft's software is outstanding. Well worth the switch!!!

Masterful Conversion

I've been using Microsoft Word for years. As a creative writer and a student, I was relieved to find that I could do my work from my tablets or phone as needed. I've basically switched from using a PC to using my tablets, and will soon move to using a Mac as well. I'm looking forward to getting my MacBook just so that I can use office on that instead of on my old PC laptop. Cloud and OneDrive usage are superb on the iPad Pro, and make my life with school so much easier because it's simply more reliable. Cross-platforming with Word has made my professional life easier, less stressful, and more portable. Thank you App Store, thank you Apple, thank you Office 365!

The best of the pack

I've tried a range of text editors for the phone, and the best really is from Microsoft. They may be late to mobile, but their iOS version of Word is really great.

I've been using it on my iPad for a log time for taking meeting minutes - a life saver. Seamlessly synchs with Onedrive (on other services) - a little proofreading back at the offices and then I can distribute right away.

Recently cleared enough space for Word on my phone. Surprised that to say it works better than Quip or Pages. With the word flow feature easy to type and reviews, but still know what it looks like on the page. Plenty of fonts that my desktop will have.
