Great app, really; but recent update causes me to re-activate

I do love this app and I use it constantly. I have a great keyboard for my iPad Pro, and it really is very much like having Word on a regular laptop. My only complaint about the app overall is that I wish there were a few more keyboard shortcuts for Bluetooth keyboards. For me, in particular, it would be cmd+f (or something similar) to add footnotes, rather than having to find the right tab, then the right button, etc. Also, I don't like that I can't seem to change the style of the footnote text like you can on regular Word.

My reason for writing this review, now, is that ever since the most recent update, both Word and Excel force me to re-activate every single time I open the app. Sometimes it even stops halfway through a document/project and tells me it can't save because I don't have a 365 account. I do, of course, and have to hit the "activate" button that appears on the top of the screen and wait for it to re-authorize, again and again. Please fix, and I'll update this review accordingly.

Well done

Exhibiting a talent to cram a lot of useful features into a clear and concise iPhone layout, Word excels even on smaller screens. If you have one of the newer larger iPhones, the experience is that much better. But even on an iPhone 5S, the experience is excellent--a very usable, and powerful, app. The Mobile View button is a key in terms of being able to get real work done--it magically enlarges the font and reflows the text.

Integration with onedrive is seamless, with auto save and quick access to all your folders. Subsequent versions of Word have improved the experience (like the ability to open password encrypted docs), and I have no doubt they will continue to do so.

Finally! They listened, well sorta :-/

Finally can get an array of cloud services, so I will raise my stars from 1 to a 3 for effort, BUT NO MYCLOUD?! Seriously this is getting exhausting! What is the deal with not letting us store on our PRIVATE storage, and not public cloud services... C for effort but I'm still waiting for them to actually add the product I use....

Tick.... Tick.... Tick.... Tick.... Tick....

The wait for confidential storage options, that has been over a year since I personally started using this version of Office, is simply damaging any confidence I have left in this company....... The only benefit left it has always been available on my laptop, but there is absolutely no functionality from my laptop to my ipad using the storage that I have, and thats just sad.
