MIDISynth Circuit provides full editing of the two synth engines on the Novation Circuit Synthesizer.
Patches can be retrieved and uploaded to the Circuit using the editor and transferred to a computer or iCloud destination for archiving. Using this mechanism it is also possible to upload patch sets, sessions and samples available from Novation Components.
Full control of the session sections of the synth are provided and presets can be saved and recalled(due to technical limitations, no interaction for Novation Components is available for session settings).
Additional functionality is available in the form of in app purchases for random generation/tweaking of patches, morphing between patches, 4 XY user-definable XY controls and 16 user definable controls.
The 4 XY controls, 16 custom controls and the macro controls are brought together on the performance screen for easy control of your favourite parameters whilst performing.
Please note this app requires a Novation CIrcuit to operate - it goes not generate any sound itself.
Please note that due to technical limitations this app requires a USB connection to Circuit in order to operate correctly.
Please note this is an independent product and there is no link or affiliation with Novation Music.

Ratings and Reviews
This needs more exposure
It’s highly advanced and works perfectly with a CCK usb 3 adapter. Everything is tweak-able, and it works like a charm. If you bought a circuit to be mobile and get away from a computer this is great. Hopefully novation will see the hard work that has been put into this masterpiece and give it some serious publicity. I like it way more than the one for the Mac/Pc. It’s also universal so it will work with your iPhone as well. This is such an underrated program.
Great as a way to get inside the nova synths but...
Two features which I really wish this thing had.
1. Ability to show up as an IAA instrument. This way it could be controlled via something like modstep.
2. Midi learn. So one could arbitrarily assign knobs to individual synth control from an external midi controller or from another app like modstep.
The reason midi learn is crucial is that this UI is very cramped. If you are on an iPad midi, forget about it. The controls are too tightly placed. It makes using the app very annoying since you are likely to hit neighboring controls.
Good start. Needs a little improvement.
Hi, have you tried switching the UI into phone mode which is designed for smaller tablets and phones?
Also, would IAA really be of benefit? Apps like modstep allow you to set up mappings for synth control anyway?
Must have for circuit owners, but needs work
Developer is updating for new iOS and devices. Initially didn't work, but the beta does. Offers in app upgrades that should be free or included in my opinion as $20 is already quite expensive.
