Ratings and Reviews
Best baby monitor out there
I just received one of the first units from Miku and I have to say, it’s pretty slick. My wife and I tried Owlet and Motorola before this. Both Owlet and Motorola were decent, but the Miku really surpasses all other options. Setting it up was a breeze and my wife was able to start monitoring our baby instantly. The app was easy to figure out and provides me with all the information I need to know and more in an easy to read way. I’m excited to see how this works out and I’ll definitely be back for an update review in the next 2 months so we can get some experience with it.
One of the buggiest apps I’ve ever used
When it works, it’s great: clear picture, nice sound, “no movement” alarms, breathing animation.
The rest of the time — which is MOST of the time — it’s so buggy, it’s barely usable.
If it connects at all, it’s rife with glitches: movement detection when the baby is out of the crib; breathing animation when the crib is empty; “no movement” alarm when the baby has been out of the crib for minutes. And why does it ask me why I turned off the alarm every single time? Shouldn’t it be learning my answers and improving?
Not to mention the fact that it disconnects all through the night, sometimes taking me to the login screen. Sometimes crashing and kicking me out altogether.
Get the software or the firmware or whatever ware working, and you have quite a product. A $400 product, might I add. Until then, it’s fairly useless and definitely can’t be used by itself with confidence.
If you want two monitors on your nightstand, the Miku is for you. Otherwise you’re better off with just one that works. And you won’t find that here.

Worth every penny!
I was a little intimidated buying our first baby monitor in the digital age but this piece of technology is amazing! From the initial set up to putting this product to the test everything ran smooth! I own home security cameras and a doorbell cam but I never thought my favorite digital camera would be a baby cam!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
