Ok app

The creator of this may have been familiar with Army and Air Force ranks, but the descriptions for the Navy ranks are cookie cutter. They are poorly written. The selection to Chief Petty Officer for example is not just the result of passing a test. The selection is through a board of Chiefs who select only those who have shown sustained superior performance in their duties. It is a high honer that many aspire to but never attain. They must then go through a rigorous training process before being entrusted with the duties of a Chief.

I <3 this app

This app is a really good app. I'm looking forward to joining marine corps when I grow up to save my best friends dad. I'm the general of the training. At recess, I train all my friends. We have lots of fun doing drills and push ups and sit ups and crunches and running.

Average App

I agree with Jed Morris' review! Navy rate descriptions are very basic and don't list all general requirements. For example the PO1 description does not include the requirement that you qualify in your "Warfare" specialty. Such as Surface Warfare, or Aviation Warfare as a PO2. Otherwise you can't be advanced to PO1 if otherwise eligible. I do like the App it's just that as a retired Navy veteran I'm a stickler for detail.
