Minecraft Realms auto-renewable subscription info:

Minecraft now comes with the option to buy Minecraft Realms. Realms is a monthly subscription service that lets you create your own always-online Minecraft world.

There are currently two subscription options to choose from depending on how many people you want to invite to play in your realm simultaneously. A realm for you and 2 friends costs 3.99 USD/month (or local equivalent) and a realm for you and 10 friends costs 7.99 USD/month (or local equivalent).

A 30-day trial of Minecraft Realms for you and 10 friends is available. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

The payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase and the subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, at the subscription price option you have previously selected.

Your subscription can be managed by you and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the your Account Settings after purchase. There is also a button in-game that take you to these settings. If you cancel after your subscription has activated, you won't be refunded for the remaining active period of the subscription.

Microsoft ruined my family time enjoyment... Please Read!

I used to be able to play minecraft with my children and thanks to Microsoft and forcing me to be signed into my xbox live account, now I CANNOT EVEN JOIN MY CHILDREN WHEN PLAYING MINECRAFT PE! Prior to Microsoft, my two sons and myself could all join the same minecraft game just by being connected to our home or any same wifi and now thanks to the idiots at Microsoft, I have to go through XBox live and add friends and change XBox permissions and do the same for my sons? This setup is confusing, hard to figure out and just stupid and unnecessary. Microsoft has truly made it so dam hard, when it used to be easy, to join the same game my kids were playing and have fun playing minecraft and now Microsoft just took away all the joy my sons and I got from playing minecraft together and completely ruined my family time with my two sons enjoying minecraft. Thanks for being idiots Microsoft and thanks for making it so dam difficult to join games via the same wifi when it used to be incredibly easy, even for a 45 year old father like myself, to figure out! I will never be playing minecraft again with my children now because I just cannot figure out how to even add my sons as friends let alone link up and join the same game! Ridiculous! I am beyond disappointed and angered that you absolutely ruined what used to be a fun minecraft experience and turned into me never wanting to play minecraft ever again.

Why, Microsoft?

You'd think that a game like Minecraft wouldn't have microtransactions. But Microsoft looked at the current state the game it was in and said
"You know what? We need more money! Let's put in needless microtransactions so we can earn a couple more dollars to add on to the BILLIONS we already have! Why not?" I'll tell you why not. BECAUSE NOBODY LIKES MICROTRANSACTIONS. Seriously, I don't get this new mentality where MASSIVE companies like Microsoft or EA think it's ok to put in these microtransactions. I don't get it. I haven't played Minecraft PE in a while because of the add on of the skin packs because I thought when a game like this incorporates the stuff from the Xbox version, it's going downhill. And BOY was I right! I feel like this game is losing popularity. There are great early access games that are putting out huge updates and the devs seem really human and they have personalities and this game is just kinda gently letting out updates with like, two things in it. People's attention spans aren't that short that they play an update for five minutes and say they're done with it. You can wait. And don't even get me started on the texture packs. Why would I spend 2.99 on a texture pack on an app that has half of the features of the PC version, when I can get pretty much the same texture packs on that same PC version for free with twice the features at the same time?

I doubt anyone at Microsoft will see this, but if they do, fix this.

Eww another game with micro transactions

From now on, I'm not playing anymore games with micro transactions. What ever happened to buying the game upfront and having everything come with it? First it was season passes with games, kind of annoying, but it's like a whole new game they say. And then they toss in micro transactions on top of season passes, no thanks. What's next, a paid subscription on top of it all? I understand online games and constantly updating games need servers and resources which always cost money but isn't there another way? I miss the old days of plopping down money and downright owning everything the game had to offer, I'm afraid those days are long gone and so is my desire to play those games.
Grand theft auto is one of those games where you don't need a subscription, no season pass, and really don't need to buy the micro transactions because you can earn it all in game. Sure you can to speed it up by buying them but that's just for people wanting to throw their real money away for fake money. Games are meant to be played and enjoyed, not to nickel and dime their most loyal customers. I really hope this downward spiral doesn't continue, I'm just waiting for the toilet to stop spinning and flush completely. This is just crap, not only this game, but every other season passing, micro transactioning, subscriptioning, game which you already bought and should own.
