The classic Minesweeper game for Mac OS X.
Have fun while flexing your mental muscle! Clear the minefield by revealing tiles and flagging mines using the numbered tiles to determine how many mines are nearby.
What's New in Version 1.1
Support right-click for setting flags
2-button click doesn’t clear squares
For a game that is won by having the fastest time, this version is missing the critical feature that allows you to clear the squares around a number whose mines are already marked. The player must click every square, even though it’s obvious that there isn’t a mine behind it. It’s a variation that doesn’t add any value to the game, except perhaps it may help improve your mouse skills. Mine are fine, and so I have no desire to play this version.
To set a flag, you have to right click. However, on my MacBook Pro, no matter what setting I use for secondary click, sometimes it doesn't register of my trackpad and instead of setting a flag, I hit a mine and lose the game. Please make an update with options on how to set a flag, such as space bar. I will re-rate when the update is done. Thank you!
Nice implementation of the game. Needs Silent Option
The game plays as expected, though It's irritating that you cannot turn off the sounds.
