Mini advertises that making a request for roadside assistance through this app results in faster service. Not true. I have requested roadside assistance over the phone in the past and had relatively quick response time. When making a request over the app, however, I waited for an hour until the app said there were “technical difficulties” and forced me to call roadside assistance. I called roadside assistance and was advised that sometimes the app cannot find a dispatcher, which causes delays. Apparently these delays do not occur if you call in your request. In my case, it was a delay resulting in me waiting 2.5 hours for a jumpstart! I’m deleting this app immediately and absolutely do not recommend it.
Total Garbage Not Befitting A BMW Group Product
Tried 3 times over the weekend to use the app and was t successful once. It resulted in a error that I can’t clear and now only have the option to “try again” or hit a button to call. It won’t clear out an old request. When I did get it to work it told me a 2 hour wait. I called in and was able to get a tow truck within 30 min. Don’t waste your time on the app just call the number and be prepared to be transferred multiple times before you get to someone. The BMW Group should be embarrassed that they released this total garbage pile on their customers.
Doesn’t recognize a VIN.
Call the associated number and they can’t hear you.
Pretty much useless.
I’ll just call the number versus using this app.
