What's New in Version 1.4
Updates for compatibility with iOS 4.2.
Fixes a bug when sending images by email.
This app is by no means a comprehensive anatomy app but it's wonderful for anyone who is going to study anatomy and wants to establish a good foundation of knowledge before embarking into the more specifics aspects of the human body, or for someone who has already studied anatomy somewhat extensively and would like a basic jump off point for review. The images are beautiful and far more detailed than I expected them to be. My one problem with it is that I wish there was a bit more elaboration in the text. There are some basic concepts that are mentioned but not explained. But I suppose that will just encourage users to do some independent research. All in all, this is a great app that I would recommend to any of my peers. ^_^
Text could be more specific, many pictures could be better drawn (like muscle upper and lower limbs), and developers should make sure the latin name of every single part is included (not sometimes the english version, other times the latin). The "Human Body Art" chapter is amazing. Why not have the rest of the program up to the same standard. Look forward to an update!
Poor anatomy app not even worth the sale price of 99 cents
As a practicing Physician I was hoping for a decent anatomy app and this is not it. The organization is poor. Many images are unlabeled. The selection of images is bizarre with many interesting to look at but not at all useful to understand nor explain anatomy. I bought this for 99 cents and it is not even worth that.
